Local Milestones

Congratulations to Deputy Coroner Natalie Basta who recently achieved an outstanding professional milestone by passing the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators’ advanced certification exam!

This rigorous 5½-hour examination tests extensive knowledge and skills across forensic science, death scene investigation, legal understanding, leadership skills, and communication through both scenario-based questions and a comprehensive 240-question assessment.

 

Please join us in congratulating Deputy Basta on this remarkable accomplishment and her dedication to excellence in medicolegal death investigation.
